Torch Lilies

Submitted this acrylic painting today to the WVA upcoming show "Turn Up the Heat" at Inspiration Studios. The opening reception will be on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 5 to 8 pm.  It's going to be a wonderful show, so I hope all of you art lovers out there will come out and see it!
 

Bleeding Heart, the Garden kind.

Don't you just love Bleeding Hearts?  They reliably come up in May around these parts, and explode in fronds of dangling heart shaped loveliness.  My granddaughter once picked every single heart off of my plant, but I didn't care, and wouldn't you know it, the plant rebloomed with more vigor!

After the Storm

There's just something about the smell in the air after a good storm, that makes me appreciate my life.  Add a rainbow to that, and well, life is really good.  That's how I feel again, when I look at this painting--happy, grateful, and fulfilled.
